Midsummer Nights Dream ,
In these works, Evergon uses multi Strip Masters layered in a single image to imply the movement and bedlam in scenes such as the four lovers lost in the forest, or the fairies or Puck, where all seamlessly and magically project through each other and emerging and submerging in their forest-scapes.
In true Shakespearean fashion, all women are played by men.
Although the full précis of the Midsummer Night’s Dream was shot at Fringe Research, Toronto; only the Fairies, Puck and one of the Lovers-in-the-forest scenes was produced at Holographics North, Vermont.
Both bodies of work present holography as a fictional medium.
